Does my IDX provider's privacy policy cover my site?
No. The IDX vendor's policy covers what the vendor does with data; your site's policy must cover what you do, including the fact that listing data and visitor behavior pass through the vendor. MLS rules also often require specific disclosures near listings. The generated Privacy Policy includes a third-party services section for detected providers and a general disclosure for listing feeds; add your vendor's name when editing.
Do I need to disclose that leads go to my CRM?
Yes. When a visitor submits a form and the data lands in HubSpot or a real-estate CRM, a third party is receiving personal information on your behalf, and if the CRM's tracking code runs on the site it is also collecting browsing history. When HubSpot is detected the generated documents name it; for other CRMs, the general lead-form disclosure applies and you can add the vendor.
Are home valuation tools a privacy issue?
Valuation and mortgage widgets often collect an address, contact details and financial information, and some forward that data to lenders or list-building partners. That is a sale or share of personal information under some state laws and should be disclosed plainly. The questionnaire asks whether you sell or share data for advertising; answer honestly so the Privacy Policy includes the appropriate sections, and confirm the widget vendor's terms.
Does the scan pick up Meta Pixel retargeting on listing pages?
The scan reads the homepage, so pixels loaded site-wide through Google Tag Manager or the theme are detected. A pixel that only fires on listing pages may not appear from the homepage alone. Compare the detected list with your Meta Events Manager and Google Ads tag settings, and note that the questionnaire and generated documents still cover advertising disclosures in general terms.
Can my brokerage use one purchase for all agent sites?
